Guest Speaker – Dr Angelo Contarino, Clinical Psychologist - His talk is “My Metropolis Journey with MG”

Dr Angelo Contarino was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis in February 1999.  He is married to a beautiful wife Rosalba and has two sons Giovanni 22 years and Enrico 17 years. There is no way he could have made it through his MG journey without them and extended family members. 

He has successfully completed a doctorate in Clinical Psychology and has over 27 years experience in working with adults, children, couples and families.  He is currently the Chair of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) College of Clinical Psychologists (CCLP) in Queensland. Dr Contarino has worked in numerous public and private sector environments including – hospital facilities, adult mental health services, child and youth mental health services, crisis response teams, school settings, the disability employment sector, and in private practice since 1997.

If members cannot participate on the day, the event will be recorded and made available to members via the MGAQ website, emailed link or in the usual format of a DVD if requested.
