Rare Disease Day is the globally co-ordinated movement for Rare Disease Day working towards equity in social opportunity, healthcare and access to diagnosis and therapies for people living with a rare disease
On 11th February 2025, a representative of MGAQ Donna Formosa and Susan White, Chair of Myasthenia Alliance Australia, attended the Rare Voices Australia Rare Disease Day Parliamentary Event in Canberra. They engaged with parliamentarians and other stakeholders to advocate for individuals with rare diseases, including Myasthenia Gravis. They also met with Nicole Millis and the RVA team to discuss the progressive work being done for the rare disease community. Rare Disease Day aims to promote equity in social opportunity, healthcare, and access to diagnosis and therapies for people with rare diseases.

OH MG ART EXHIBITION | A Unique Opportunity to Share Your Myasthenia Gravis Story
The Oh MG Art Exhibition will open at Logan Art Gallery on May 22nd, with an exclusive opening night on May 30th, and run until June 14th. The exhibition will conclude with a special closing party for individuals affected by Myasthenia Gravis (MG). Curator Chloe is seeking donations of crochet snowflakes and Mestinon bottles by the end of March and invites people to submit their portraits to share their MG journeys.
